As works progress well on the Clifton Hampden Bypass scheme, we are now preparing to enter the next phase of traffic management around the Culham Campus roundabout.
This will take place from around 6pm on Friday 9th October until 6am Monday 12th October.
For any businesses or customers wanting to access Culham No. 1 Site over the weekend of the traffic switch, escorted access will be provided via the current A415/Station Road junction leading to the site.
Anyone wanting to access the train station by vehicle over the weekend of the traffic switch, will need to use the western A415/Station Road junction and use Station Road.
The next phase is shown on the below maps and will see the following changes:
- The A415/Station Road junction, leading to the Culham No. 1 site and Culham train station will be closed permanently.
- Culham No. 1 site, Culham train station and Culham Campus access will now be via the current A415/Culham Campus entrance and exit road.
- Pedestrians will now follow an altered diversion route, shown in yellow below.
- A temporary pedestrian footpath from the A415 heading north towards Culham Campus will be in place.
- A temporary bus stop for eastbound traffic will be in place on the A415, next to the footpath mentioned above.
Once the traffic management is in place from the morning on Monday 12th October, the following routes will be used for access, shown in green:
When we are ready to move into phase 3 of the traffic management, which will see other changes to the traffic management layout in phase 2, a further notification email will be issued.
